Adding a profile picture

Please follow these steps to upload a profile picture to your directory entry.

In response to some Members requests regarding adding photos to the Members Directory please see below how this can be carried out.

The Black Lion Squash Club takes no responsibility for images uploaded by Members but please remember that this is a family orientated Club and any inappropriate or offensive images will be removed and may result in Members ability to use the web site being removed.

In order to add your profile picture to the Black Lion Squash Club website, you’ll first need to log into the site.

Once logged in click on the ‘Members Directory’ button in the top menu and scroll down until you find your entry.

Click on your name. This will take you to a new page where you have the option to ‘Edit Entry’.

Clicking ‘Edit Entry’ will take you to a new page. At the top you’ll see a box tittled ‘Image’. Click the ‘Browse’ button which will let you browse your system for your profile picture. Once you’ve found and selected your profile picture click the ‘Open’ button to upload it.

Once successfully uploaded click the green ‘Submit’ button.

A message will appear letting you know the image is being uploaded and once it has you should now see it in the ‘Image’ section.

Now (whilst still logged in) go to the ‘Members Directory’ page and scroll down until you find your entry. Your new profile picture should now be shown next to your contact details. To change or delete your profile picture, repeat these steps.

I am indeed. I’m not seeing the black bar at the top of the screen. I’ve also tried doing a “hard refresh” (CTRL+F5), in case the page was cached or something. Silly question, but it’s not an admin only feature is it?

No I don’t think so, few others checked it out first. I’ll do a couple of test using another account and get back to you.

It was there a second ago, but has gone again now. Looked like a WordPress feature as opposed to something directly related to the website. I was able to update then, but can’t see anything now.

Andrew thanks for spotting these bugs.
We’ve changed the method of doing this now, although I see you’ve successfully updated you picture now.
      Thank again
